SPA for schools

For each annual exhibition SPA develops a special programme of educational activities. On the occasion of the inaugural Bianco exhibition, it has created a programme of visits and workshops focused on the communicative and emotional value of colours. For this first pilot edition of SPA for schools, activities will be offered to six classes in selected primary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools in the Oleggio and Novara area.

The search for strategies that enable individual re-appropriation of content by stimulating participants’ interpretation and personal re-elaboration skills.

Direct confrontation with the works in the collection and shared exploration of the plurality of meanings in the exhibition will help to improve school programmes and stimulate critical thinking. Workshops, organized in collaboration with the Ethnographic Civic Museum of Oleggio, offer a space for creativity, the consolidation of knowledge and the strengthening of skills.
